Kunst erregt, Kunst träumt und schmatzt.
Kunst verbindet und reibt. Sie frisst und speit, kritisiert und umgarnt.
Sie ist schön und freudig, vereint Tragik und Komik.
Kunst beginnt in Räumen. Ist der Platz dafür weg, ist die Kunst weg.
Wir, die Künstler*innen Gemeinschaft Treptow-Ateliers e.V., sind seit 2018 bemüht eine langfristige Sicherung unserer Arbeitsplätze zu erwirken und die Verdrängung zu verhindern. Unser Standort in der Mörikestraße, den wir im Sommer 2020 verlassen mussten, ist seit über einem Jahr eine gähnend leere Baulücke. Unser jetziger Standort, die Rathenau-Hallen in der Wilhelminenhofstraße, ist eine temporäre Möglichkeit bis zum Baubeginn.
Die Wilhelminenhofstraße 90a, ein ehemaliges Oberstufenzentrum, ist seit mehr als 15 Jahren leer. Dieses Gebäude gehört dem Land Berlin. Vor über zwei Jahren sind wir an das Land Berlin herangetreten mit einem eigenfinanzierten Sanierungs- und Nutzungskonzept. Trotz vieler Unterstützer von Seiten des Bezirks und des Landes Berlin, bleibt uns der Zutritt und die Nutzung verwehrt.
Wir laden euch herzlich ein zum Kunst Happening vor der Wilhelminenhofstraße 90a.
Wir möchten mit euch gemeinsam das Haus bespielen und gestalten.
Es wird eine Freiluftausstellung und Aktionen geben. Wir reichen Kuchen und Getränke.
Gemeinsam reiben wir, schmatzen wir, entwickeln Visionen und erregen uns mit Kunst.

Art connects and rubs. It chews and spits, criticizes and ensnares.
It is beautiful and joyful, combining tragedy and comedy.
Art begins in spaces. When the space is gone, the art is gone.
We, the artist community Treptow-Ateliers e.V., have been striving since 2018 to achieve long-term security for our workplaces and to prevent our displacement. Our previous location in Mörikestraße, which we had to leave in the summer of 2020, has been a yawning, empty space for over a year. Our current location, the Rathenau-Hallen on Wilhelminenhofstraße, is a only temporary solution until construction begins.
Wilhelminenhofstraße 90a, a former upper-secondary school, has been empty for more than 15 years. The building belongs to the state of Berlin. More than two years ago, we approached the state of Berlin with a self-financed renovation and utilization plan. Despite many supporters from the district and the state of Berlin, we are still denied access and use.
We cordially invite you to an art happening in front of Wilhelminenhofstraße 90a.
We would like to playfully re-imagine the building together with you.
There will be an open-air exhibition and actions. We will serve cake and drinks.
Together we will rub, smack, develop visions and excite with art.
