The Lumen exhibition brings together 30 multifaceted artistic voices from the Netherlands and Germany.
At the exhibition’s centre is the theme of light in all its manifestations: as sunlight or artificial light, technological innovation or atmospheric moment. Light creates presence, casts shadows, defines emphasis. It is both a material and a bearer of meaning—sensual, poetic, experimental.

How does a place become a place – or rather, how does it gain value? Of course, there is the history of a building. But perhaps it is only through the energy of the people who live there, through their creative work and the time they spend together, that it becomes a meaningful place. The exhibition explores this question and presents works by 22 artists from Treptow-Ateliers e.V.
